Overview

Engineering recruitment: boring. Pixel art arcade games at careers fairs: NOT boring. Siemens wanted to stand out from the sea of branded pens and sad pamphlets, so we built a competitive iPad game that made students actually WANT to engage. Heated multiplayer battles ensued. Conversations started with 'good game' and ended with 'so tell me about those engineering positions...'

Features

Unity multitouch enables simultaneous same-screen multiplayer on one iPad, naturally creating conversation and competition. Retro pixel art aesthetic signals fun amid corporate blandness. Local leaderboards drive bragging rights and repeat engagement. Transforms recruitment booths into 'have you tried that arcade game?' destinations where students arrive for games, leave with applications.
